As a photographer and human being I enjoy capturing the special occurrences of day to day life, no matter how simple they may seem. In a sense, I seek to transcend the mundane. In my opinion, basic tasks and events can be more alluring than the glitz and glam because they are real. I aspire to observe and photograph more real life events around the world in the future, truly representing and displaying diversity.

The decisions I make in the course of my work are based on emotions, mainly. Human emotions are very powerful and can transform the entirety of a photo. When taking a photo, I enjoy capturing true, raw emotions, not ones displayed for the sake of the camera.

Currently, I am working on shooting from a more "photojournalistic" perspective, and documenting events as they take place. I am also interested in fashion photography, in regards to its surrounding environment specifically. I am constantly improving and developing upon previous work, and learning from past projects. With my future projects I seek to challenge what is typical and expected from photography, and create beyond these limits.
